  1. What proverb had become popular in the land of Israel?

  3. Did the Law of Moses teach that God visits the iniquity of the fathers on their descendants? (Ex 20:5)

     

  4. Was the punishment of captivity declared because of Manasseh's sins, and the sins of his contemporaries? (2 Kings 21:11-15, 24:3,  Jer. 15:4)

     

  5. Did Jeremiah say that the Jews were bearing the iniquities of their fathers? (Lamentations 5:7}
